FUTURE FORWARD SEEKS NEW ENGLAND INNOVATORS AND TECHNOLOGY BUSINESSES FOR 2003 TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASE  

Area's Technology Companies to Exhibit and Present New, Innovative Technologies to Exclusive Audience  

BOSTON, April 23, 2003 – Future Forward, New England’s Premier Technology Summit, today announced its “Call for Innovators” to submit for the first-ever Future Forward Showcase to be held at Future Forward 2003 on November 6-7 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The Showcase provides New England-based companies with a unique opportunity to exhibit and present new, innovative technologies and products to an exclusive audience of technology buyers, investors and potential partners in an invitation-only setting.

Participating companies must come from the technology industry and will be selected based on product or service viability and market opportunity. A panel of industry experts will judge all submissions and select eight finalists. Deadline for nominations is June 30, 2003. Finalists will be announced in September.

Companies selected to present in the Future Forward Technology Showcase will receive the following:

• Designated exhibit space throughout the two-day conference

• Participation in an “elevator pitch” presentation to conference participants including leading venture capitalists and technology decision makers

• Profile in the Future Forward program book distributed to all attendees

• One complimentary 2-day pass to attend the conference

• Recognition as a finalist in various marketing programs, including:

• Inclusion in press release announcing finalists

• Inclusion in press release announcing Best of Show

• A link on the Future Forward web site

Additionally, attendees will select an emerging technology as “Best of Show” at the conclusion of the conference.

To be considered for participation in the Future Forward Showcase, an entry form must be submitted at www.futureforward.com/showcase by June 30, 2003. There is a $3,500 exhibit fee to present.
