Final
agenda and speaker list for September technology
conference now available at www.futureforward.com
BOSTON,
August 12, 2002 – Future Forward Events LLC, organizer
of the Future Forward and Nantucket Conferences, today
released the final agenda and speaker details for its
Future Forward 2002 conference. Future Forward, an
invitation-only event that brings together technology
executives, investors and entrepreneurs from throughout
New England for shared dialogue and networking, is being
held September 26-28, 2002 at the Cranwell Resort in
Lenox, MA.
"Future
Forward was started to help raise the profile of New
England’s tech sector -- relative to our cohorts out in
Silicon Valley -- and forge connections between the
technology innovators in our area,” said Shayne Gilbert,
co-chair of Future Forward 2002. “Now, with the
region’s tech sector in a very slow growth phase, the
central focus of the event this year will be the ideas,
new developments, and strategies that can ‘reboot’ the
tech sector. We’re going to talk about what it will take
to restore momentum, get companies growing again, and
start creating new jobs.”

Ahmed, CEO of publicly-traded telecom firm Sonus
Networks
- Doug
Field, VP of Product Management at Segway LLC, maker
of the Segway Human Transporter
